Deep from beneath the avalanche of a toddler who can now get out of bed whenever she wants to, lies the desperate (if not exhausted) inspiration for story writing.

Soon to be back!

Ahh the fun of a wee one who realizes they can not only get out of bed. But they can also leave their room and go anywhere they want.

Been enjoying the reading.

Can’t wait for more.
[color=darkred:ae54a33fba]We soldier on
Through hell's high water
This war's a losing fight
The past is gone
The future further
Retreating out of sight
And after the fire has died
Will the light still remain in your eyes?

I know you're all wondering...

Yes, sleeping is going a bit better (yay!).  However, now potty training has begun (oh my God!).  We're hanging in there, but I can't wait to get back to writing.
And to tide you over until I'm back, here's a little something for you to ponder (and probably crack you up):

Just think of Issy as a mom trying to do this stuff.  ;-)

xoxo
See you soon!

I can see Issy handing the kiddo a small wooden sword. "Here, play with this, but stay on that pot until you go!"

Well, I imagine she'd be a better mother than Dracina:

D: "You are my childe. I have just Embraced you. You're probably very hungry so I brought along a snack. I suggest the jugular, it's easily accessible and gushes the best. Go on, eat, before he crawls away."

C: "...But..."

D: "So Bhaal help me, if you don't eat this mother(bleep)er right now I will ram my (bleep) up your (bleep) and (bleeeeeeeeeeeeeep) and (bleeeeeeep) and trust me blood splatter like that is bad for the carpet! Now EAT!"
The bitch is back.

"A plague on both your houses..."

Yes, we've had the plague here.  But the clearing in the skies must mean there is good health on the way!

Here's toasting you all in the new year with chicken soup and antibiotics!
