Innocence of a hatchling
« on: September 18, 2009, 09:57:44 PM »
Toddling out of the nursery, creep, creeping along the wall of the lair, she was following a scent, the kitten sized blue hatchling was gonna find daddy!

Sneaky, sneaky, into her parents room, and wait!, daddy was sleeping!, that wasn't fair!

Wiggle, squirm of little haunches, and she lunged, giving daddy's tail a lovely tackle, giggling with glee.

::The sudden pressure of the tackle to his tail started him awake.  It didn't take much to rouse him these days with Rhydin in it's current state.  In fact, he woke and raised his head so fast that his head slammed into the ceiling of room, causing stars to flash before his eyes.  Grumbling a few choice draconic curses before he looked to see exactly who had woken him up, and he immediately fell silent.::  Good thing mommy wasn't around to hear that, and that you cant understand it, right little one?  ::He chuckled and gave his daughter a nuzzle.::  It'll be our little secret, okay?

Wide blue eyes blinked up at daddy as she heard those words, soaking them up perhaps. Lucky for him, she couldn't speak yet.

Another giggle and she fell over onto her back, batting the tip of daddy's tail, little talons threatening to catch in his scales.

She didn't really know any better.
