State of the Forum

Many things have happened in the last couple of months since our last report.

First, the bad news, as Brian takes an extended leave of absense due to a family emergency. I hope everything goes well for you, Brian. We are here for you.

Now the good stuff! Initially we changed the home page to show the most recent posts, but realized some of the content was not quite suitable for the front page. So we are back to having the Playables only.

The DM Guidelines and all the site documentation have been combined, updated and moved to the RDI in preparation for closing the DM site as we build a new forum. Everything is in one place.

Both maps - RhyDin and Mt Yasuo - have been updated, removing the last Flash content from the site. The city map is up and ready to accept new properties. Claim your lot!

Many, many changes and improvements have been made to the chat, and we will continue improving it as time permits. You can see them listed here We have a list of bugs, questions and comments regarding the chat here If you have a problem or want to report a bug and don't see it listed there, please post it.

We have a new event calendar that every player can use to post forum and chat events. You no longer have to ask an admin to add your event to the calendar. \o/

We have been working on a site redesign and a forum upgrade. We have decided to switch to Simple Machines. If you are not familiar with them, you can view their site here This upgrade will take some time since there are tools we need to code and convert like your favorite: inventory icons.

Another project in the works is something people have asked for before. A world map. We need your imput before we make a final layout. When the map is finished we will allow players to add their land to the map as dots, along with a folder where they will be able to describe their land in more detail. You can see the map here:

The red circle shows where RhyDin City will be.

Last, but not least, the admin team wishes you all happy holidays and a great new year.
Don't believe that crap that you're as young as you feel. Your feelings lie.
