Want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life without needing to travel far? To find a place of utter peace and relaxation unlike any other experience?

Come join us at The Crystal Spa, located just north of the city walls, nestled within the forest just far enough to leave the chaos behind, yet close enough for a quick escape.

Orientation

Begin by entering into the reception and lounge area. Spa goers are invited to take some time in this co-ed space to rest and relax even before continuing into the spa, or before exiting to rejoin the world outside.

The main floor is also home to the Flower Cafe.

Sit within a lush array of flowers, spices, herbs and sip on tea or enjoy some delicious, light dishes.

The use of technology (computers, phones, and other devices) is restricted to the lounge and cafe.

Once you're ready, you'll proceed to the womens' side, mens' side where you'll remove all of your clothes.

Stairs on either side of the main reception lead up to a second floor, women to the left, men to the right. Private locker rooms and spas are available upon request, however they are limited.

The Locker Room and Shower

Patrons are asked to leave all of their outside possessions in the lockers, yes, clothing included! The Crystal Spa provides comfortable, clean tee shirts and shorts for patrons to wear.

Prior to leaving the locker rooms, patrons are required to shower to ensure the spa remains pristine and clean. This step may be omitted by patrons who wish to receive a full body scrub service, which includes a head-to-toe scrub by one of our talented aunties who is sure to polish every nook and cranny. Not for the shy or the faint of heart, but truly a refreshing experience.

Once you are clean you may proceed to the hot and cold spas

These pools of various sizes are also different temperatures. The largest pools are warm, while the smaller pools are either hot or cold. Patrons are invited to dip their toes into the different pools to soak and relax and experiment with the different combinations. Patrons will be provided with a small bath towel to pat away sweat, however do note these pools are full nude.

If the spa pools are not to your liking there are also

Dry and moist saunas. Full sized towels are permitted in these rooms, but not required.

It is recommended that patrons spend approximately 15-30 minutes in spa or sauna before proceeding to the third floor.

Both locker rooms lead up to the third floor and the gem of the korean spa experience.

An open lounging space is co-ed, with mats and simple pillows for patrons to sprawl out, relax. It is asked that chatter be kept to a minimum so that all may rest and rejuvenate.

The domed structures that ring the floor are the homes to different kiln spas.

The Clay Room

Features soft clay floors covered by canvas, kept at a toasty 150F.

The Salt Room

Features pure Himalayan salt. Patrons are invited to lounge on mats or directly in the salt. This room is kept at 120F

Infra Ray Rooms

This room can reach up to 200F. The rays promote healing and cell turnover. Not recommended for highly mutable beings. The outside of this room has a bench where patrons may sit and feel the pulse of the rays for a truly relaxing experience without any of the heat!

The Freezer

The cold room is kept at just about freezing.

Patrons are advised to spend 5-15 minutes in each sauna, while spending time in the lounge area between to come to balance.

Other Amenities

While the spas and saunas are the main focus of The Crystal Spa, the offerings don't stop there.

Sleeping Room

We never close. While we have a 24 hour limit for visits, (yes, seriously!), we know that some would live here if they could. Sleeping lounges are provided for naps, relaxation, or a good night's sleep.

Massage and reflexology

As massages introduce oil or lotion to the skin it is recommended that patrons receive these services at the end of their stay if they wish to avoid showering again to enter the spas.

The Crystal Spa offers 30, 60, and 90 minute table massages (deep tissue, shiatsu, or acupressure) or reflexology. Massages are in private rooms, reflexology in a group space.

Hair stylist, barber, make up and laundry

On site staff are here to care for every last bit of you so that you may re-enter the world fresh and primped!

OOC Information

The Crystal Spa is a public business open to all. Please be respectful of the setting. This is not "that kind" of spa.

The staff is entirely NPC, male and female, and entirely professional. Assume that they speak Common without too strong of an accent.

Any questions, please PM this account. I will check periodically.
