Benjamin poked his nose in, following a text sent not that anonymously.  He brought a bag of meat pies and a six pack of Coke.

He gave Hawk the staff he used to play Sterling, warning that it still had a few spells attached to it.  He'd already ordered a replacement for the character.

Princess, he gave her a loose bound folder, which had autographs of most of the actors and birthday wishes to her written on the first page.  The rest of the book was filled with the sketches for the various costumes made for the cast.

Slide, climbing wall and bounciness.  Benjamin had it enchanted to auto inflate, protected against punctures and burns, and had the graphic changed to 'brave dragons'.

Secret Santa Claire, thank you so much for the gifts.  They're much appreciated and the snow ball shooter is a lot of fun.  My pet crows have stolen the slippers, they think they're the best nests ever.

Cheers!

WestEnd / Movie Night

Benjamin did pay more attention than he let on quite often.  He dealt with closed mouth people, who didn't necessarily say more with actions than words, and sometimes were just plain confusing.  It was easier to watch from a distance until things settled.

So while it might have been surprising or strange to some that Benjamin suddenly decided it was time for a night out, it made perfect sense to him.

First off, he needed a car.  Benjamin poked through the rental companies and found precisely what he was looking for:  A boat of a vehicle, a vast 1959 Cadillac convertible in lipstick red.  The company renting it guaranteed its safety and the safety of its passengers, listing of an arcana of spells that had been built into the car.

Next, Benjamin needed the venue.  He knew 'Guardians of the Galaxy' could be watched anywhere, but he didn't want to go just anywhere.  He found a drive in theater, and quickly booked the car.  'Guardians of the Galaxy' was playing in a double bill with 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'.  Perfect.

It got better.  While telling Lirenel and Gemethyst about the evening he'd planned with Joy, Brian, and Brandon, Gemethyst abruptly decided to buy the car for him.  Lirenel looked over the website and found an El Dorado in black that called out to him.

So less than twenty four hours later, Benjamin found himself in possession of the lipstick red beauty.  Fortunately, Lirenel's new home had the garage space for the huge cars, Benjamin would have to build a proper shed for his.

As night started to fall, Benjamin pulled the huge Caddy up to a Brownstone in the West End, and rolled out of the car to get his guests in gear.  He wore a colorful Hawaiian shirt in blues, peg leg Levis, and red Chucks.  Ready for a retro night of super heroes and space.

What Andu said.  It was a blast, so many people and so much going on.  So much booze.  Best of all, Benjamin got all of the hounds rehomed.
