Yas was hired as a DJ at the small up-and-coming radio station, WHAM! 101.1FM, in 2012. The main reason she was hired? The place was just getting off the ground and they thought it was best to hire someone who can do the whole band, instruments, sound effects, and vocals if the sound equipment ever gave out. Extreme acapella!
Now, why was she hired at the Shanachie Theater in 2014? Probably because they knew they could save a ton of money on costumes, wigs, and makeup by hiring the shapeshifter. That's her theory anyway.
