I don't have anything useful to add or weigh in to this conversation. I just personally thought that I would address why I pulled Suliss'urn out of the running last time!

Generally at that time, I may have logged in to play Suliss' and check PM's and how her forum was doing every 3-6 months at best, and like now, I may only actually be in the room role playing once or twice bi-yearly. Or lurking, but not actually in the mood for playing. I felt that wasn't the type of player needed for a good/bad/fun/what-have-you Governor, personally. I felt like the SL deserved a more dedicated player than I was at that time (and currently still am.)

So that's why I withdrew Suliss'. :)

Also, I enjoyed watching and reading the race to Governor.

1. I've been RPing on DM for over 6 years now - not to mention the near decade I RPed on AOL at the RDI. Please try to remember that just because a Screen Name is new, its player might not be.
2. I know the difference between OOC and IC. I know that the Rhy'Din Post is an IC publication. That doesn't change the validity of my statements, in my opinion.
3. The section that I posted was more about Vera than myself and by the time it was brought to my attention - about 3 hours ago or so - it'd already been published for 2 weeks, so I really don't see the point in asking for it to be removed, quite frankly.
4. Last I checked, this was the OOC section of this folder. Thus, I think I'm entitled to post my OOC opinion about something that was written, just like everyone else has done so far.[/quote]

You offered a personal opinion on what you find to be a pervasive attitude in RP across the site.

There are better areas for discussion as such than to single that out in one player's forum.

D'aww. Thanks, Sul! That means alot! I wasn't aware anyone was even reading this stuff. We are having a lot of fun, and that's the point really, isn't it? Thanks for reading and glad you're enjoying it. We have some further adventures planned for them at some point in the future.

I'm like Suliss'. Always there. Watching. Readi--wait no, that's creepy. What I mean is, there are so many great stories and so many amazing writers that sometimes I don't know what to say.

But there are people reading, they just get overwhelmed (like I do.) I bet there are others reading too and OMG YES PLEASE WRITE MORE FOR THEM!

Fact: Kitty is Suliss' favorite snack.
Fact: Kitty's cleavage is a great place to live.
Also fact: Love the stories here and love that there is such a gathering of different voices to consume. I have so much to read and never enough time!

I just wanted to pop in and say that it's always really good to see large groups of people (Scath, Grangers and BC too) getting together to write SL's in a common setting.

Lucy and Steve are too cute together to be entirely legal and they are my sugary delicious pixie sticks of RP reading.

The writing in this forum is beyond amazing. I use that word a lot, "amazing," and you'd think that people like us, used to words could pick several to describe great stories like this. But sometimes, we're left fumbling like twelve year olds seeing our favorite rock artist.

"Do you have to be so naked?" Had me giggling.

Please keep writing!
