For as long as he could remember, all Rob had ever wanted to do was become an actor. He was just as fond of horses as his father, but his dreams for the future had always involved a stage, not a stable.
As such, he'd been enrolled in the STARS program for a few years now and was starting his first year at the Rosita De Luca School of Performing Arts, with the hope of making acting a career. He'd had a few minor roles in the Repertory Company in the past, due to his connection with STARS, but now that he was sixteen, his parents and teachers had encouraged him to officially audition as a guest performer.
Though he was not from Rhy'Din or even Earth, Rob had discovered and subsequently become obsessed with the work of Shakespeare, and for his prepared piece, had chosen
"Mercutio's Monologue", finding that part far more interesting than that of the lovesick Romeo.
For his second monologue, he was asked to sight read and perform
"Charlie's Monologue" from
The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
